Philippines military offensive continues as talks stall

The peace talks between the Philippines government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front was again postponed yesterday (Tuesday) as the military buried 15 more marines killed on the island of Basilan.

The MILF is being implicated in the July 10 killings and beheadings of Philippine marines, but the government says it is not for these reasons that the talks have been stalled.
