SYDNEY–Hunter S. Thompson. New Journalism’s Dark Prince. Dead. Don’t get me wrong, I love the the big T, but if I get any more junk from a self-important baby boomer such as “bringing to a sober close an era of print journalism rooted in the raucous 1960s”, I’ll go postal. He indeed changed j’ism forever. And that’s my two cents.
