The United States has conceded for the first time that the Pakistani Taliban was behind a failed attempt to detonate a car bomb in the heart of New York City.
After dismissing the claim of responsibility immediately after the incident, US Attorney General Eric Holder now says they helped facilitate it, and perhaps finance it.
